    Von Rohr & Associates pioneered with Members of ACF Switzerland (Association of Personal & Organizational Change Firms) to host a joint stand at the HR Salon on September 30th and October 1st 2015 and make a presentation on the theme “Criteria to select an Outplacement Provider”.     When parting with an Employee, Employers sometimes offer the choice between outplacement, training and/or cash. What are the best practices in this area?

    ACF secures tax rulings to exempt outplacement benefits from tax

    The introduction of the new Certificat de salaire in Switzerland gave rise to varying interpretations across Cantons as to the tax status of outplacement benefits. Faced with the decision of a Canton to levy tax on an individual’s outplacement benefit, ACF mobilized forces to address the matter. All Cantons now recognize outplacement as a benefit, similar to further training, provided three conditions are met.

    Von Rohr & Associates: 20 years dedicated to developing talent and employability
     
    This anniversary perfectly seals the partnership between companies, candidates and Von Rohr & Associates. In 1993, Eva von Rohr proudly sat down behind her desk and opened Von Rohr & Associates at 47, avenue Blanc in Geneva with two
    colleagues. Since then, nearly 5’000 candidates have passed through its doors, coming from over 300 companies within all sectors of the economy, from the Lake Geneva region and elsewhere.
     
    This once small company has grown to become one of the leaders in outplacement and career management in French-speaking Switzerland, establishing high-performance standards and partnerships in Switzerland and abroad. New tools and new services have been provided to candidates and companies, best practices have been integrated, staff members and consultants have joined the team, and infrastructure and systems have been regularly upgraded and renewed.
     
    In the past twenty years, there has never been a dull moment at Von Rohr & Associates and it does not appear that this will be changing in the near future. However, two elements have been a constant throughout the years: the trust demonstrated by Von Rohr’s clients, and its aim to provide the highest-quality tailor-made services.
